What We Do & What We Dream About:

In 2007 as a teenager, I started a business named S17 Rodeo Co. The company raises rodeo bucking bulls, and cows. Most all of them are registered with the American Bucking Bull Inc (ABBI). We have around 15 head at this time. Our bloodlines include; Bodacious, Panhandle Slim, White Sportscoat, Rooster, Spook, Guidry Breeding, Whitewater Skoal, Ravenscroft Breeeding, Naccarato Breeding, 55 Gunslinger, K66 Rapid Fire to name a few....
I also train ranch, trail and performance horses on the side. and when I have time I create custom paintings and drawings, as well as western decor. I also enjoy leather working (which I am just getting started in) as well as rawhide braiding. Or Rawhiding, as it is called. It is an old art-form!
I have been working on making the old Vaquero style Reatas. (lariette ropes made of rawhide)
I like the Buckaroo styled tack for my ranch horses.

I met my husband at a local rodeo in 2007. In 2010 we were married.

Both my husband and  I have jobs away from the ranch. We have to, to make ends meet. Someday, just maybe we will be able to be full time professional ranchers, rodeoers, horse trainers, and guine cow polk!
At this time we lease a small ranch, but maybe after we make it big in rodeo ;) we can settle on a place of our own....about 1000 acres ought'ta do it!

My husband and I have one major goal in mind, to be able to make a living with rodeo. My husband is a bareback bronc and bull rider. I am just getting into barrels. It's been a bumpy start down the rodeo road, but thats all part of it. We both got a late start in our rodeo careers. Neither of us were able to become a member of the High School Rodeo Assoc. Although my husband did ride in a junior bullriders assoc.
Neither of us had parents that could tote us down the road to all the big time events (and we don't blame them a bit!!). I guess God just didn't planned it that way. I know these hard times are only a test of heart, and of determination.

If we didn't have such a hard climb, would it be as worth it when we got to the top?

Neither me or my husband are the types that give up easily. We are both stubborn as mules, so it's a dang good thing we have a great relationship! :)

We are on a pretty tight budget. But we give thanks to the Lord for all our blessings, and we know that everything has it's way of working out. Even if it's not in your time frame. I really am very thankful for my husband. He is so supportive, thats one thing that makes this team work. We both beleive in eachothers goals and dreams. And most importantly we both trust in God to help us out where and when we need it.
